I\u2019ve seen Hamgate grow from a small suburb of London into an overcrowded borough. I grew up here, my parent and my grandparents lived on this estate. Me and Shak\u2019s mum grew up on this strip. We both our boys at the same time, and both ended up single. Josh\u2019s Dad left me when I was three months pregnant. He found out I cheated on him while he was away prison.\u00a0 Josh doesn\u2019t know that, he doesn\u2019t ever need to know. Things are bad enough between me and him. I wish his Dad hadn\u2019t left; I\u2019d like him to see that Josh is <em>his<\/em> son, but he wouldn\u2019t believe it. Deep down I feel I\u2019ve failed at bringing up Josh.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know how to handle him. I spent most of his youth at work \u2013 I\u2019m the manager at Hamgate bookies. I had no choice. I started there when I was eighteen and worked my way up. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Most likely to say: \u201cWhen I was growing up in Hamgate\u2026..\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Like: My cat, Quincy (I love Quincy) and my goldfish \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Dislike: Violence and today\u2019s youth\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Highs and Lows:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>High: Having Josh\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Low: Josh\u2019s Dad leaving and Josh going to jail for the first time.
